warp 9 wheels any good ?

    looking at a set of warp 9's on ebay the price is right are they any good or should i just save my money and get excel's. converting 09 te 610 to sm

    Good not great. You get what you pay for in wheels. For SM work they should be just fine. If you were doing 60+ foot jumps i might try to steer you away.

    thank you for the reply. any of the vendors /sponsers out there know a good place to pick up a sm conversion kit with excel rims talon hubs tires rotors relocation bracket spacers and sprocket for a good price

    I put a set on my son's WR250 and he's beat the hell out of them pretty good and they've held up great.
    I doubt they are as strong as an Excel wheel in a collision, or for jumping as mentioned. Keep the spokes tight and air in the tires. ;)

    CJBROWN thank you for the reply. i still think im leaning twoards the excel's i know they are more money but I know i will have no issues with them. thanks again for the info

    They're half the cost. :thumbsup:
    If I was doing a sumo conversion on my own bike I might be tempted to use them.
    I have heard of cheaper rims splitting along the shoulder of the bead flange. That would be a drag if you were a long way from home huh?

    The anodizing isn't as nice as excels either. I have black excels on my KTM. Wish the husky had them. :cry:

    I was getting some anodizing done, so I decided to send my 610 rims in and had my hubs coated at the same time.
