Everytime I walk past my TE630, it makes this weird, not sure how to describe it...mooing sound. Anyone remember those canned animal sounds from the toy stores from about 30 (I know I'm dating myself here)years ago? That's the sound it makes...mmmooooooooh

    What is it?

Pretty sure it's the gas tank venting. But yeah, it was the strangest sound at first. Parking it after a day's ride....... mrraooo.....mrraoooo..."What the hell is that??" lol

Yep, that's the 2-way check valve in the tank vent line. If you pop the fuel cap off, you'll hear the fumes escaping.
Gasoline has a fairly high vapor pressure, so as long as the tank is warm, there will be pressure in the tank. Sitting there in the sun, sometimes it will "moo" every 20min or so...

I thought the big 'ole green 1 way valve automatically falls off the bikes when they get home. :excuseme:. Then put a little section of hose with a vent on the tank nip. No more cow calls.

Except that valve keeps you from dripping fuel when you top off
