Yep I went and picked up a new 2015 KTM 350XCF today. I had hopes of getting a new Sherco but will wait and see how things shake out with them so for now I hope the KTM works out. I didn't get back from the dealership till 6:00 this evening so all I had time to do was put in three heat cycle run ups. I'm liking the general feel of the bike. The ergos feel nothing like the 08's my son had which is a good thing for me. It feels nice, light, and thin. I'll have more to say once I can get after it but for now.....I likey :D.

I hope you're happy with your new bike.

I'm not a KTM fan for the reasons below, but not everyone shares my concerns and I understand that.

I wish I could like KTMs, but I have several issues with them:

    - how they're handling and overpricing Husky
    - they're too damn tall. I had to lower my 37.2" TE310 and it's and inch shorter stock than any KTM.
    - orange is ugly
    - their bikes are ugly (orange aside)

Thanks mnb. I hope I'm happy with it too. I also wish things with the KTM Huskys were different and maybe someday they will be. They did have one left over 14 white Husky and it looked awesome but it was a 450 FC. I don't mind the orange color myself. It is a tall bike but I'm going to get it lowered.

Nice John, very good bikes for sure. I would put some XF coolant in it ASAP as they tend to boil over. Once you use that stuff you will be a believer. I thought whats the big deal til I used it, it is amazing stuff. My YZ450 boils EZ with the rekluse, tight trails, big hills hot day etc. So much so I was filling it on the trail several times a day. Not good for the motor, no fun and irritating. Now it never builds pressure or leaks a drop no matter what. I'm buying more and putting it in everything.

Not sure how that particular build of the 350 EFI is but many of them are pop and stall masters in tight stuff. Might be a non issue, might be something you have to address. My friends that have these bikes love them and I like riding them a lot too. Great choice.

For some reason I can't get the pics from my phone to my email. Usually I can pull of that off. I guess a smart phone is only as smart as it's user .

Thanks K. So far no overheating or stalls. I used Redline Water Wetter in a supercharged Mustang and know it worked so I'll get the XF. Who sells it and who makes it?

Zip-Ty sells it, it's actually Evans coolant with Zip-Ty label on it. Much cheaper from Zip-Ty though from what I've found. Also a chance to support them :).

Well, I guess you win! You have now overtaken Kreig, and he is no where to be found. The new comers won't know what I am talking about, but that is ok...

Yeah I keep hoping he pops back on here. We still have two Huskys and my grandson has my WB165 so I won't be going anywhere..
