I would like to purchase a new Terra while I still can. I am being offered one by a dealer @ 6,500 OTD. Seeing as MSRP is only 500 more is this even a good deal? They gave me my TE511 for 6 OTD which I thought was a good deal. Thanks.
Here, in Spain i bought my Terra ABS only for 4990 eur. 3 Months ago the price was 6.990. At the Husqvarna page in spain http://www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com/es_es.html no one reference to Terra 650. They are selling the stock quikly Vss
Given that there are very few left, whether it's a good deal or not, if you wait around, you'll miss out, so you don't really have the bargaining power of walking away and waiting for a better deal. For what it's worth, most if not all people who bought these at full price before any discounting took place, myself included, believe we got a good deal.
6500 with tax title and license? That's $400 or more right there. I think that's a good deal. I sold a 14 to a local the other day for that price. The bike is a good deal at retail.
You don't know any dealers that actually have a Strada in stock do you ? I'd gladly bus down to Oregon to ride one home.
Toytech in Grantville, PA got 5 2014's in a couple of weeks ago and a week or so later....., 5 more showed up by mistake. Of course he took them. 3 or 4 of the 10 are gone....Get them while you ca. Per dealer rep, "all that are out there are out there". Up to dealer trading at this point.
I see on www.ebay.com that heinen's-motosports in Osseo, Minnesota has a 2014 Husqvarna Terra 650 for $5999. and a 2013 Husqvarna Strada 650 for $5999. 764-425-2178
Reno KTM might still have one. They got the ex-dealers inventory, one strada and one terra. I got the terra.
Hey nice to see someone here from Reno! Do you know if Reno ktm is set up with the MOSS tool? Will they service our bikes? I bought my terra from the (ex-dealer) and they have absolutely washed there hands clean of our bikes.
I see you own a DRZ 400 SM. I used to have one. Very fun bike. You will love a Strada if you can get one. Better all round bike, but you will want to figure out how to get the Husky engine into the DR chassis,or at least find some stickier rubber. Good luck.
I think it's not official until first of the year. Picked mine up on the 9th, it was still in the crate. Don't know what their plans are with service. Didn't know about MOSS until after I bought it and came across this forum.
There's a Strata in San Fran, Munroe motors. They wouldn't hit the number I wanted so I picked up a Terra in Tucson.
