250-500cc whats an extremely clean '01 cr250 worth

I found an absolute gem of a cr250. Extremely ridiculously nice shape. Im just curious what there worth as i never see them for sale.

what they asking for it? $2K? if its seriously in that good of shape grab it cos it wont last long!

Im going as soon as i get paid tomorrow. Im sadly probably going to resell it as i already have a full stable, but it's seriously a gem. Ill pass it onto a husky enthusiast i hope if i get her.

Im honestly trying to make some money buying and selling bikes. I know bikes, i know values, im handy with a wrench as well as have pplenty of elbow grease ready to go. Buy some that need some work, or are just neglected and need some polishing and straightening.

I always pass on deals when i can, but if i can Make a couple dollars and make someone happy still no harm. I need to find a way to make a few dollars somehow.

I have my Honda 250 listed for sale, ill list the Honda and the husky 250 keep whichever doesn't sell.

I think 2k is high. It might be worth something to a guy looking for one, but there aren't a lot of people looking for a 14 yr old orphan bike, no matter how clean. $1k tops, IMO.

I think it is great that the bikes are holding value but I also think there are less and less buyers for the brand. I have a 144 and a125. Sold a cr250 this spring. Parts are becoming a problem with many parts on back order I can't get lower rad shrouds for my 09 grrrr. Last year I waited 2 months for a piston for my 250. I certainly wouldn't pay that kind of money unless it was perfectly set up. The 125 and 144 are perfect bikes, my wife can ride it learning as well as the kids but they are still great for my racing and trail riding. I'm going to keep the small bores but I'm certainly watching other brands now for something interesting.

For some reason parts supply doesnt scare me at all. I own a 1987 Mitsubishi starion, a husky, have had a couple tm's, a rickman zundaap and on and on. Its always available somewhere with a little digging. I think ill probably keep the 01 cr250 and probably own more italian huskys as people become more afriad of them. Get alot of bike for hardly any cash.
