I have to replace both ends soon. My local shop is two hours away so its easier to get online. Problem is last time I ordered for my wr300 they got the pads wrong once, sent back and they sent the wrong ones yet again. I guess they had the wrong ones listed somewhere and all the parts catalogs where cross referencing the same place. This still an issue?

Good price and you're guaranteed to get parts that fit.

My recollection is that one of the cross-references in the EBC catalog is wrong, thus the wrong pads situation. I think there is info about it on here somewhere. Don't quote me on that, just my (usually bad) memory.

Fronts match all full size KTMs made in the last 15+ years. So, those are easy.

The backs match KTMs from something like '98 to '03 (I think, don't quote me, check around). So, taking the old set into a KTM dealer and you should be able to match it up.

Rocky Mountain has the Neutron cheap-o brake pads (http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/764/24487/Neutron-Brake-Pad-Sintered-Metal), that I actually like quite a bit, they are listed correctly. If RM hadn't have ticked me off last year, I'd still use them, but alas they did cancel a time sensitive order on me without notifying me then made no effort to make it right, so they no longer get my business. Too bad because it's nice to get a year's supply of brake pads for the price of one set.

Agree with Kyle here, Mike is a great guy, very knowledgeable. I stopped up there a couple of months ago to get some fork seals and some misc hardware, was in a rush to get them, he was very accommodating. -Ed

there's a seller on ebay that sells them for less than £7 a set including the postage, they last just as long as the ones I was paying £12 for. Manufacturer is called motor tech. The other ones I use are kyoto but I haven't fitted them yet

The best brake pads are the Moose XCR pads. Double ceramics to prevent heat transfer and metalic lining for long wear and predicable performance. Use a solid rotor for best heat transfer to disc to prevent caliper boiling. Have your dealer get these from Parts Unlimited. It is always best to buy from a dealer when you can. A good relationship with your dealer always comes in handy. [IMG]
