Which brand of paint is the best for Husky engine cases and covers ...

Any wisdom on this topic is greatly appreciated.

    - Primer + flat black/semi gloss enamel?

    - 500f engine enamel without primer?

Is there some magic indestructible and heat proof oem paint out there that I dont know about??

    Regards to all.

PJ1 doesn't like petrol so steer clear if you want a lasting finish.

Use a 2 pack enamel, available in all finishes and is petrol and oil proof ;)

I've used BBQ (2000 degree) flat black with matt varnish. Holds up well.
Available at most hardware stores. Many brands to choose from.
My favorite is High Heat Rust-Oleum.

Thank you for your suggestions ... I will let you know what I go with in the end.

To those who suggest high temp paint do you use a primer?
