I just got a 2011 WR300. I want to install reed cage/ boot gaskets. I heard that some year Honda CR
reed gaskets fit..true or not ?

    Thanks all !!

Any CR250 before 2002 will work for sure.

If you take the numbers off your reed cage you can cross reference them to be sure at a honda dealer.

My # didn't exactly match the honda cr 125's reed pedals, but they fit. Instead of AG602H it was 3P602H.

Edit: Oops somehow missed you're talking about a gasket

curious why you ask this?? i have been told that some of these WRs have had issues with factory gaskets failing causing vacuum leaks or other issues. I noticed my boot is cracking pretty badly and when i inquired about replacing it someone told me to use the cr 250 gaskets and put one on both sides (one on the cylinder itself and one between the boot and the reeds??

Yes, I just got this very low hour 11 WR 300. On first ride , even with a pwk carb, jetted close to database
average- it was lean. It does act like an air leak..removed reed cage. Found only 1 thin gasket on cylinder side.
Folks on the cafe have reccomended gaskets on both sides of reed block , so I have some on the way....

Just did this to my 2014 Italian WR300. Put a 92-01 Honda CR250 gasket on reed block between carburetor boot. Husky gives you one between reed block and cylinder. Read there was writing etched on reed block that caused air leak. Writing on mine (same as 2013) was just on inside edge of O-ring seal recessed in the carburetor boot.

IDK why everybody uses Honda gaskets. I used two Husqvarna gaskets.

for me anyway it was because the gasket was on my shelf. Honda OEM parts are cheaper too.

I have a local Honda dealer and the price with tax was $9 so I couldn't order OEM Husky and pay shipping for that.
