does the white frame hold up to boots or is it in need of some guards?? Looking at trading my wr300 on Tuesday.

It will need guards. The second time I rode my TC-250 paint started to rub off.

Mine is holding up quite well, although it never hurts to put guards on.

Anyone know where to source the guards? KTM ones appear different due to the sub frame design. In the husky power catalog they have some frame decals, I wonder what they look like.

Husaberg riders were buying the KTM ones and trimming them to fit above the subframe mounts.

I'm actually most worried about down low by the footpeg. I picked the bike up today..awesome bike except the factory jet chart errs on the side of rich for sure. Didn't have near the snap of my 12 wr300. We will see how it feels after break in when i clean the jetting up. Might put a JD kit in.

I'd imagine you can cut pieces from a clear bra car kit. It's plenty think and when it's worn, cut a new piece

That's a good idea...I work at a chevy store and we have clear bra..maybe I'll see if I can get some scraps. Won't take much.

X2 good idea. I've got a black smudge on my left side frame above the peg (from my boot maybe?) And its being a bear to come off. Still slightly there. White was never meant for me. Just ask my wife about all my white t-shirts that turn into work shirts post haste. But white looks so damn good!!

With the white plastics use a magic eraser to get the scuffs out. Warning:don't use it on painted parts like the frame

That's what I did with the Husaberg guards I have on my 350

Frame guard 1.jpg Frame guard 2.jpg I got a set of Husaberg frame guards for my TE300, the frames are slightly different because of the linkage on the Husky. With a heat gun, I managed to get them to fit good enough.
