Had te250 serviced at the dealer. They reset the hour meter ,is there anyway to retrieve the original amount of hours that have been put on bike. Has anyone got a clue if you can.
I would be happy it has been reset personally. You do not have the hours totalling up when you wish to sell.
If you can't get the original hours back, maybe you can manually set in a number that is close to the exact number and go from there ...
What reason did they give you for resetting the hour meter? Did they watch Ferris Bueller too many times?
I did not give them any reason, don't know why they did or why you would do it. This is the first new bike I have owned. Is this a thing that happens all the time. They even took the little plastic ring off that holds the clip screw to the seat. So why would you do that..
