Hello, new Husky owner here, trying to scavenge whatever parts I can find locally. So, as the title says, I found some 250 wheels and am wondering if they will fit the 450?

A lot of times the only difference is rear rim width. It will fit either way, but a 1.85 rear rim would not be desirable on a 450. A 2.15 wide rear would be better.

Either will work on either bike, but handling and traction suffer.

    Hmm, thanks for the info!

I found a site talking about hub width differences, but that may not have been for this model. So, came here to ask the experts. I may be able to get the TXC certified for street use here, and some street tires/wheels would be fun to try.

The 2011 front wheel may need the 2011 axle.

If the 2011 front hub is shiny it is the newer wider wheel.

    Rear wheel is the same

I am using the cast wheels on my 449 that came with polished hubs, not a big deal.
