I'm at 5,200 miles now. Will embark on 3500 mile journey in June.
Wondering if 5.10-18 tire will work as a replacement for my OEM Metzler 140/80-18?

5.10 inches is equivalent to 130 mm. Someone will have to chime in if they have any actual experience with a smaller width tire on the Terra rim. Otherwise you will have to decide if you think the narrower tire will hold it's bead.

A 130 Heidenau K60 works just fine on the Terra.

Some of the conversion charts use the 5.10 as a direct replacement for the 140 and some for the 130. I am getting ready to put a 5.10 on my Terra

I am running a Michelin SC12 XC 140/80-18. Works great.
