Has anyone tried to fit a PWK 36S AG carb from a KTM on an '09 WR250? I'm just wondering if it will fit.

I cant see why not if the 38mm Keihin fits . Should be an easy swap.
Its just whether that carb is as good as an air stiker carb?
I think this was asked about a month ago . It should be good. Anyone?

The PWK from the KTM looks taller than the air striker. I was wondering if the throttle cable would clear the frame and if the rest of the dimensions are the same.

there is plenty of room for the cable on mine and mikuni seems taller than the keihin PWK anyway

I took some rough measurements and it looks like it should fit. I found a used one and just bought it. Can't wait to see how it works. There's too much snow now, so I'm going to be waiting for awhile.

The 36mm from the latest KTM's is an airstriker type. It is the same dimension reed boot to air cleaner boot as the latest Mikuni that is on the wr125. The 38mm PWK is longer in that direction and you have to sqeeze it in on a 125. Not sure which one fits best on a wr250.
