I posted this on ADV as well, but thought you guys might have some suggestions as well... I've been searching for a windscreen for my Husky SM610 with no success. I like the MRA ST windshield, but it doesn't have brackets to fit 1 1/8" bars. The brackets fit 7/8" bars or 1" bars. Do you think it would be possible to make them work? I also found a Laminar Lip mounted on a TE610 that looked nice, but the SM has a different front headlight/shroud than the TE, and I don't think it would work. Seems like the hump at the top of the SM shroud might interfere. Most universal windshields are for 7/8" or 1" handlebars, not 1 1/8". So does anyone know of a small windscreen that might be compatible with my bike? __________________ 2008 Husqvarna SM610 2008 Honda CRF230L
Some street bikes take 1" handlebars. I'm thinking if the brackets work on the 1" bars, it might not be too much of a stretch to modify them to work on 1 1/8".
I have been looking at this http://www.laminarlip.com/supermoto.php What ever you use some modification will be necessary. Laminar is only about 60 miles from my office, I think someday soon I will take my bike to there office to see what fits best. Dan L

When I get a chance I'll take some pics of how I mounted it. It's basically using some snaps with a couple of small support rods off of the handgaurds, real easy set up that is quick release and will break away if you hit it from the top or behind (no windshield style decapitations).
That would be excellent. Your setup looks great--just what I need. I just installed Zeta handgaurds too, so I could probably use your mounting idea. My only concern would be that my SM headlight plate is a little different than your TE one. I'm getting ready for trip to Death Valley, and a windscreen would be nice. Not sure if I'll be able to get anything installed in time, but at least I can start planning for the next trip.
