Hello all, looking to buy a WR300. Do these come from dealer with lights, turn signals, speedo, horn, etc? Pictures of bike are vague. Any input would be appreciated.

I had to buy the turn signals, $20 for a pair and the mirrors, 2 required in Canada, also a mirror perch for the left side. All wiring and mounting is in place for the signals, just plug them in. Horn, speedo, high beam, low beam, brake light, lic/plate light and mount, tail lights all good to go. Comes with a kill switch but is equipped to mount an ignition switch., D.O.T. approved tires. Has a handle bar/steering lock as well.
Now go git it : )

I got all that stuff with mine. I never put it on as I have no intention to ride it on the road. Although I do have the horn installed.

Not in the U.S. They come with a speedo, head and tail light but no turn signals or horn. It's easy to add them though.

Thread revival. My local dealer has a 2013 WR300 new in stock with no headlight or tail light. It has a flat number plate. Is that normal or?? The sales guy that deals with the dirt bikes was off and no one there new the answer. Thanks

That's the way they are normally shipped, is my understanding. They were coming with the light kit in a box, that is how mine was, but that was 2012.

For what it's worth, the "light kit" isn't too exciting. The taillight is the old-school "top of fender" type, so I bought a modern low profile LED. The stock computer works but sort of sucks, I have a trailtech on mine. The stock headlight is fine, but it's basically the same as an aftermarket Polisport or Acerbis unit. The wiring harness is super simple and just has leads for running lights, no brake lights or anything.

Point being, you can DIY the basic stuff (head/tail/brake) really easily. If you need the blinkers, horn, etc, it gets more complicated and you'll need a handlebar switch, etc.

FYI my bike doesn't like starting with the headlight on, I think it's a Ducati ignition thing. I have a switch and I turn the headlight off when kicking and when riding in the woods. I have grand plans to switch to some low-draw LEDs or a time delay setup, but may never bother.

It's my understanding the '13 don't come with lights. Like Kyle said, they aren't the best anyways. I just used a $25 Cycle Gear led tail light instead of the OEM since they gave me the wrong one anyways. My front headlight has been cable tied and safety wired a few times and now has a angle bracket from the hardware store attaching it to the bike.
It's not a perfect fit, but it does it's job.

In the US, they stopped supplying lights for the '13's and '14's.

I got a 12 WR300 with no lights. Buddy of mine got a 12 WR250 with lights-same dealer. Word is that the Ducati ignition does not "work well" with the strain of a headlight, etc. Whether true or not, you will find some WRs in the States with a headlight.

The more i find out about my 09 the more I never want to sell it. I have the trailtechs h2 light, blinkers, tail light, gps but also grip heaters and trailtech gps all powered from it. Runs them all just fine.
