Washing the bikes yesterday from riding on Sat and got the bright idea to see what they weighed on my handy dandy digital bathroom scales.

Both bikes were clean about half a tank of fuel no tool kits. WR stock except for a Trail Tech Computer, KDX has been remodeled with a set of KX 125 USD forks.

    09 WR 300
    F 124 lb
    R 126 LB

    04 KDX 200
    F 117 lb
    R 145 lb

Now I know why the KDX is such a wheelie machine with a skittery front end and the WR feels so planted in the corners

I'm surprised they are so close to the same weight but that 220 is several years older ...

IIRC my KDX200 was just a couple of pounds heavier than my '95 WXC250. I really loved both bikes :)
