250-500cc Wr-360

I have been interested in trying a big bore two stroke enduro bike for some time. There is a 2000 WR-360 in my area and my question is this.

Since it appears that the frame on the new 250 and 300 WR's has changed little since 2000 would it be smart to pick one of these up, ride it until Husky comes up with a new big bore frame, then purchase one with the updated frame? Is there a significant difference between say a 2000 WR-360 and a 2010 WR 300 other than suspension?

I always believed that if Husky still made the WR360 I would buy one new. I got tired of waiting and made my own.
