Posted an ad in the Classifieds a while back but I'm getting pretty desperate now..

I'm in urgent need of an intake manifold for a 2007 WR 125 (or similar)

Been calling around the UK dealers all day - best help has been from Reece at Husky Sport but he has none and Husqvarna is reporting unavailable to him so he has been calling up contacts unfortunately to no avail so far. Closest thing I have found on eBay is a manifold off a 1995 CR125 in Australia but it looks a little different and quite aged.

I'm wondering though if the Honda manifolds might work? I think the Husky and a certain Honda share the same reed block design as I've seen the VForce V301A reed blocks used on the Husky but VForce lists them for a Honda CR125 1987-2000 - anyone shed any light on this?

There are a couple of sm manifolds on ebay at the moment ! You may have to slightly modify them but they at least will bolt straight to the engine cases and will get you out of a hole untill a wr item appears, I THINK the bore is slightly smaller so carb maybe a tight fit but its gotta be better than nothing.
If a man can find one Reece will be the man to do so, Im going over in the morning and will have a look around the workshop to see if there is one hidden away out there for you.

ha, you two both use husky sport too? reece is really friendly. Do you mean this thing? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151543077569?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
I would think the wr/ cr/ sms/ wre all use the same size reeds, I thought it was just the carb that was bigger on the first two, 36 or 38mm opposed to the 28mm
I can't picture how it goes together, is it the reeds plug into the crankcase bit, then the carb plugs into that to get fuel and air in? If it's that that the mm refers to is it not possible to drill it out a bit to take the extra diameter?

Thing is, I have the SM manifold! I'm looking for the WR one so that I can fit a Lectron that I have coming as theres no way this one is stretching around a 36 :(

Similar-looking manifolds from Honda's seem to be plentiful on eBay though so I'm thinking that may be an option if Reece at Husky Sport can't get me one.

Take a look below - looks almost identical apart from the built in jubilee clip?

I have a couple spare, see attached photos, they are of an early 2000 CR 125.

Both are genuine Husky, one has had the prongs cut off though?

    Internal diameter is around 38mm IMG_0235.JPG IMG_0236.JPG IMG_0237.JPG

Let me know if any good to you and i'll list on Ebay

Knew something like this would pop up after I go and order a Honda one lol. Thanks for the offer though, I'll definitely take you up on it if the Honda manifold doesn't fit.

That looks good but yeah quite expensive!

The honda reed block fit perfect in my 02 CR250 husky so you might be OK.

Yeah I'm almost confident the reed blocks are the same if not very similar so I hope the manifold is too. If anything it should at least work temporarily.

Let me know when you get the Lectron sent out, I'm hoping to start out fresh after this rebuild as my current carb is way out.

i bought a hot foot moto intake for my 360. not exactly the prettiest thing but seems built ok and its the only thing available. the price is worth not having to worry about wandering jetting, ingesting dirt, or doing engine damage.

I only use husky sport if I need a genuine part that I know fits, but there's ebay guys who sell apico steering head nuts for 8.99 that may well have fit, but to be safe I paid 13 quid for a genuine husky one. Bearings I got off ebay with races for under 20 quid, genuine would be 40 plus. Ebay ftw!

Manifold arrived yesterday and fits just fine after giving the stuffers a lil shave with a knife to fit my reed block. Piston kit should be here tomorrow to get my top end done and then I'm just waiting on my Lectron from Kelly to get out there again...

Will get some pictures of fitted manifold soon.
