hi I'm in the uk so don't suffer from altitude changes, annoyingly the engine keeps stalling when feathering the clutch going down slops or in tight woods,it also keeps pissing fuel out the overflow, constantly stripping it to stop it,then does it after an hour of riding,I was wondering if I got a used KTM carb and fitted that? it's a 2013,anybody know anything to help???

Float level is either too high or needle and seat is not sealing. Some carbs have a small "O" ring around the brass seat where it screws into the carb body, make sure the "O" ring is not flattened out or hard and broken.
shrubitup, MotoMarc36 and Dirtdame like this.

Toss the mikuni and fit the ktm keihin and never look back ! I got fed up real quick with the mikuni it changes with the weather where the pwk does not suffer half as bad. I had to run quite a fat main jet on the 144 with the pwk but most of the uk ktm 125 / 144s are jetted fat up top stock, from memory I think I was up to around a 205 main where a 144 ktm is a 210

save yourself some money and try bending tang up a bit to lower height of float - should be around 5 or 6mm
if too high it will run crap
