250-500cc Wr250 1990 vs Cr250 1991

Hello

I have those 2 bikes and both in perfect condition, but the wr feels like an 125 and the cr250 is really strong.
Can someone tell me the difference.
They have both the same cilinder but the wr has a different piston and krankhaft.
I can not explain the difference in power they both run great.
Maybe it is normal :-(

Yes i am running the WR with an HPI ignition but it feels like 20hp less than the cr
Bike is running great but less power
The exhaust is also verry thick steel and not laud, could the exhaust from the WR250 hold the power back??
Maybe i have to try the exhaust from the CR250

You could have a double wall pipe, they tend to be heavy and sap power.

Yes I have this havy one double steel.
Are they inside different to the thin pipe from the cr

my 95 had the double wall pipe..made a big difference going to an aftermarket unit
