250-500cc Wr300 6 speed?

Someone told me you can you can drop in a trans from a 360? Is this true? If so what do I need exactly? Thanks

You need a bottom end from a '92-'99 WR250 or any '92 and up 360. It's pretty much a straight across swap, there is an old thread on TT by wallybean detailing the procedure. Absolutely worth the effort, "THE" best mod you can do. First gear is more usable and top gear is worth 15-20 mph more top speed. It's a crime that the bikes don't come this way! You can find one on e-bay if you hang out a while, or if you want PM me. I've got two I'd be willing to let go of, $300 ea. including shipping.
