Heyo. Got my 1994 wxc 250 all put back together and broken in. Im looking for a wiring diagram or help. I've got an led headlight and tail light im trying to wire up to the bike. Ive completely rewired a couple of my street bikes but never dealt with wiring a bike without a battery. Can anyone help me out? Im not looking to add a battery but rather wire it like a wxe would have been wired for lights. I have searched and searched for diagrams /info, so excuse me if this has specifically been covered on here somewhere. Thanks guys. IMG_20201108_155756692.jpg IMG_20201107_141505724.jpg

the yellow wire is the power for everything not ignition, be sure you have a voltage regulator
I have used the lights before, but they seem to take a toll on the magneto life
speaking of magnetos, is yours original, most replacement, ie aftermarket don't have a lighting system
but the good news is your stock type ignition covered a lot of years and as such might be found "fairly" easily

Thanks for the helpful reply. So i found the yellow wire going from the right side of crankcase/stator up to what i assume is a rectifier, not a rectifier & regulator combo unit???
Only the one yellow wire attached to it.
So should i tap into that yellow wire between the stator and the rectifier and add a regulator (any recommendations on regulator) in the new line before my light switch/lights? Thank you for helping IMG_20201110_190101560.jpg IMG_20201110_184919671.jpg

it is classified as a regulator
    and yes tap that wire

Gotcha. Now that i switched my multimeter over to AC ive got 12v+ at the yellow wire. I am still searching for a manual for the bike and all i have to ho off is the parts diagram, which admittedly is quite helpful, but they have the regulator listed as a rectifier...#18 on the list..
Thank you so much for the help. The headlight and tail light / brake light are LEDs, I shouldn't have any problem running those on AC right? Again, thank you. Looks like you're in Nevada so unfortunately the prospects of me buying you pint aren't so good.
