Please note that the early production run cylinders were a toleranced tight in the inner piston recess. This caused the piston shaft section to bind upon installation, preventing proper piston installation process. The updated cylinders are relieved a 1/1000 or 2 to facillitate proper installation and function. The ZipTy crew will replace any of the early production units with no issue. My TXC set up is now 7602 wide flange piston with "X"ring in ZipTy CNC billet slave cylinder.
mine was tight but works......real tight....slight emery chamfering needed....rather vaugue clue..."it works... but"
I got another one from GP motos and the anodized finish was taken off at the re-machine marked area, so my "newer" slave cylinder replacement is a CNC modded original. I still need to send my no-fit (tight fit) one back to ZipTy to payback GP with a replacement. Let me know how the NE-PNW crew duel goes, I hope you both choose airsoft guns, we would hate to lose either of you.
Did you buy a zypty clutch slave cylinder and receive this information from them? email? I am having trouble following along.
Nope I went to do a quickie 15 min slave change and 7602 piston that I pulled from my oem magura slave would not fit so grabbed my oem magura piston and it wouldn't fit. Grabbed the calipers to measure and it was inconclusive for dims, So I called Steve @ ZipTy and he informed me of early production fit issues, my slave was purchased last year and was sitting around waiting for install. I got another one off the shelf at GP motos and could see the machining off of material and of course the removal of anodizing inside the new one. The old one is packaged and will be shipped back to Ty for replacement, which is the payback to GP Motos when I get it
as for the 125 drag race.....Joe remember Kellys is a 144, ya think the claiming rule would be in effect??? and how about paint ball guns on 125s on a circular or oval track, that would be fun to watch (and do).
