  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc 04 CR 125 Set up for the Woods. Good Bike?

I`m looking at buying a used CR 125. I`m 5'11" and 195lbs without gear. Its has a title, WR ignition, 18" rear wheel, big tank, revalved suspension, low hrs, a new topend, WER steering damper, working lights and has all the original CR parts including the ignition. He`s asking $1400 What are the pros and cons? I`m really interested in the new WR 150 and wanted to pick this up to try it.

That's a great deal. I would snap it up if I didn't already have an '08 CR 125 set up for the woods! I've found I really like the EFM auto clutch in my 125, but the revloc dynaring looks like a good and cheaper alternative if you want to try it. I don't think you can go wrong with that bike with that stuff at that price. Enjoy!

Woops

Hey there,

I think I just bought this bike out from under you!

This was on the Ecea forums right?

If so, I just picked it up in my van today.

It's totally cherry, so drop me a line if you need any info, or really need this bike more than I do (I already have 2 others to ride, so I don't want to keep this one from you if you had your heart set on it).
