• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

09 TE450 parts on 09 TE610

Hey guys,
was wondering if someone an help me out here. Im trading my 09 TE450 in for a brand new 09TE610. Now seeing as though I have put alot of aftermarket parts on my 450, I wanted to see if they would fit an 09 610.

Specifically im talking about my scotts steering dampner and BRP submount, motorsport front and rear disc guards, force radiator guards, R&D husky fuel cap and motorsport front axel hex bolt.

Im after more of an adventure bike where I can rack up a few hundred kms of tar mac and then hit the forrest trails. Do you guys think the 09TE 610 would be an ideal bike for this type of riding? I've only ever owned full on enduro or motorcross bikes.

Thanks for any feedback.

I would get the 610, they are great bikes for what you want to do. The motosportz front rotor guard will fit, the rear would require a little modification, the axle nut will fit, the rad guards should fit but may require a little grinding fitment by the neck of the coolant bottle (most guards require this ). The fuel cap is different. The damper will work but you may need a different mount.

Cheers Rancher, much appreciated. I thought I may need a new BRP submount ..... cant wait to get the 610 and deck it out
