• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

11 tc 449 lets be honest

rappster

Husqvarna
AA Class
OK gang the spec's say the 2011 TC449 is 238lbs and some change, is this real to life or is it way off the charts

I go back and forth from a TXC511 to a TE250. Cant say that the weight makes a bit of difference on either one. All mfg bike weights tend to be a dry bike completely devoid of fluids ....

What would you figure all fluids meant. 25#

2 gal gas
Antifreeze
Oil

3 gal max. 8+ lbs per gallon

.....oil in forks?, shock? ....battery fluid?

Its a bit of a game. I could always lose 40 lbs :)

I haven't weighed a bike, or paid much attention to the specs, since I was 16 with too much time on my hands.
The guys at the Funky Chicken riding 2 strokes and 350s were still eating Cory Graffunders TXC511 dust.... until they fell so far back they couldn't see him anymore. Their 20 lb lighter bikes didnt put them in front....and I place the same whether WR300 mounted or on the TXC511 (well actually I do better on the TXC so I sold the WR300)

my 2011 TE310 in race set up with 2 gallons in the tank weighs 266. that was on professional nascar spec scales. I have lost and gained weight on mine, ie heavy skid plate, heavy flexx bars, lighter battery, lighter exhaust. all the street gear is off my TE, but it still has lights and uses the key ignition.

2 gals =12.2 lbs
