  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

With as long as it's taking to get the IMS and Clarke tanks out.... My P3 tank was worth every penny I paid for it!

I didn't have time to wait or have the $1000.00 or so for the cool p3 tank so I got a 2010 (2.35 gall according to Bill's) and has gas valves on both sides to get all the gas (cost 235.00) Have to work for now. Yes they say they are coming soon. Yawn......................... Yawn....................... Years winding down I may wait now. Contemplating on possibly riding a Gas Gas next year (Glad I didn't get that Husky tattoo I always thought about) seriously not sure. 2.35 gall tank at least gets me to the optionals anyways!

I will have my IMS tank for the weekend as well.

My TC is already sitting on the stand with the body work off ready for the new tank to go on.

Good for IMS! I'm interested to see if there is more room in front of the tank for the stabilizer post. From the pictures it looks like they tried to mimic the OEM tank which isn't good. NWRider or Motorsportz will have to let us know the scoop.

I'm going to wait and see what Clark comes up with - hopefully over 3 gallons and looks as good as the IMS. I'm a glutton for punishment. :banghead:

if theres a tank someone needs to buy this damn 200!

er.... i mean sweet most awsome 200 motorcyle or oragne flavor! it said it is one of the best woods bikes ever made!

id really like to see what clarke come out with as well.

:thumbsup:I installed my IMS tank last night. Pretty straight forward. I really love being able to see my fuel level. I was riding woods today and it was great to know how my fuel is holding out. I've had a bit more fiddling and fettling with this bike than I would have liked, but it is turning out to be a fantastic bike. This tank is one of the best things that I have done.

I went over to Bill's today and tried the IMS tank. It will not fit with the GPR stabilizer post and I don't want to have to melt a brand new tank. Guess I'll have to wait and see how the Clarke tank.

See if they make another post / arm. I thought they had a close fitting one for the 08 IMS tank, maybe that would work? No problem with the Motosportz fitting so there is room.
