Hello everyone,
I have acquired a 1992 WXC 250 and have been in the process of restoring it to rider condition for a woods play bike. New UFO plastics modified from later model, Acerbis headlight, Wossner piston kit, chain sliders and various other repairs and upgrades. Not exactly period correct, but that's not my goal. I'm on to the fork for replacement of seals/rebuild and am looking for any info anyone may have. I understand this year has the Showa preload adjustable fork, the service manuals I have only cover the White Power units. The supplement for 1992 states it has a Showa fork, but does not cover any service or adjustment procedures!
I would love to get a copy of the owners manual, or at the least fork oil levels and adjustment baselines. Not sure about comp/rebound settings,
and suspension adjustment is not my strong suit. I have scoured the web looking for info on the fork, and have found none. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and I understand the price of admission is a photo!
