• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A friend has a perfect 610 with 2500 miles on it. Its the grey/dark grey color and hes got a full Leo Vinci exhaust on it.
What are these things going for now? He claims $6k is a good price.

Good luck getting $6k. The new 2013 449/511 were being sold for $6k a month ago to make room for the 2014 models.

I told him about the same. I suggested he list it for $4200 and hope for the best. He wasnt hally about that; who would be? But truth hurts with exotics. Especially a supermoto. Sometimes guys ride their bikes so little and the bikes are like new and they try to sell something 5 years old like they just bought it last week.

It sucks! I have an 09 TE 610 with about $2k in mods / extras and I would be lucky to get $4500. It's market value and the fire sale on the new models really hurt the resale on these bikes! Thanks BMW or KTM which ever one of you made the call this time. On the flip side, I'm buying a 2011 husaberg 570 with about $3k worth of mods / extras for $5k, so...

Buddy of mine got a 2007 Husaberg FS550E for $4,000... something like 1200 km on it. That's like 40% of the original price up here in Canada...
