Model: 2009 TXE310 (6000km on the odo). I thought I would invest in an iBeat cable so purchased the parts off ebay and setup the software today. The TPS was set to 962mV. I warmed the engine and reset it to the "read value" of 972mV. My default CO settings are CO1=115, CO2=107 and CO1=105. Never touched them and see no reason to change them. The engine had the power up mods installed by the dealer when I purchased it new so they may have changed them from 100,100,100.
The bike has always been hard to start when hot. It was like it wasn't getting enough fuel and I had to give it some throttle to get it to start. It now starts first time effortlessly. The iBeat software is basic however really handy to check your bike is setup correctly and read any error codes.
My bike has always revved well and never had any deceleration popping or tuning issues. My only gripe was the hot starting problem however I'm glad that's sorted.
p.s.
I wanted to quieten the bike so bought a dB Killer insert and gave it a try. It made a chirping sound at idle and seemed slower to rev.
I thought I'd give it a proper test on the trail and was amazed. The added back pressure due to the restriction improved torque significantly. I was going up hills (graded roads) in 6th gear (14-50 sprocket setup) and it was spinning the rear tyre at speed. It never did that without the dB Killer.
Power is fun but torque is better...
