  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2010 TC 250 Ride report.

Pro Class
Well to cut to the chase....the bike is absoutely AWSOME!!! My son described it as "the best bike by far he has ever ridden". (His other rides are a 08 SX450 and a 08 SX505 with full Ohlins) He also said the following: The easiest to go fast on. Best turning bike. Increadible power/tq for a 250F with a very smooth delivery. Brakes and clutch couldn't be smoother. Gear changes and spacing are spot on. It's a one (1) kick starting bike. The light weight and perfect handling allow you to just choose any line you want or make your own with total confidence. He also said "it's like somesone hand built him a bike and nailed evry single part of it". I think I am happier than him because I got it for him without even asking him what he thought about the bike. He was totally surprised when I told him it was for him and I must say I was a little surprised at just how much he likes the bike. Hey Husqvarna...you hit a long home run with this bike, thanks. Oh, I put about ten laps on it and agree with every thing he had to say and if anybody gets one and doesn't like it I'll trade you my like new 09 TXC510 and some cash for it. :D

Thanks for the feedback and good to hear you guys are loving the baby thumper.
Reading stuff like this is no good for my bank account though, especially after my short test spin earlier today.

I'm going to be shouting it from the roof tops shortly. Amazing bike (2010 TXC250)

Funny, i was thinking the same thing yesterday.

That makes four of us at least. And I am 35 lbs heavier than my son and we haven't even touched the suspension other than 4 clicks out on the comp/rebound!
