  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2010 TXC250 Aftermarket Exhaust

srelaford

Husqvarna
B Class
Has anyone tried the FMF Q4, FMF Factory 4.1, or the Leo Vince system for the 2010 TXC250, TE250, Or TC250?? Also I haven't seen anything from Pro Circuit but if anyone has any info on a PC exhaust for the 2010 that would be great

you should try using the search feature, there have been many threads on just this type of question

Good link but still no new info on exhaust that I can tell. I would like some real detailed results if anybody has a link it would be much appreciated.

I will tell you about the Leo Vince on Monday, today I reset the TPS with the ibeat (it comes with a new CDI), I will ride it tomorrow.

You mean ECU (electronic control unit) I think Conde. This exhaust/ECU should be the ticket in my opinion. I have been waiting for over 2 months from Husky USA.

Exhaust was the first question I asked my dealer about and they said it was hard to improve on the factory system. I thought it would be cool to have a carbon fiber wrapped silencer on it. But im still running the stock one like a good boy.

Leo Vince Ride report:

The exhaust improves the bike feeling it revs a little more freely.
The exhaust note is really quiet!!!
My original ECU works a little better that the ones that comes with the system!
It still got that low end abscence spot.
On my honest opinion is to expensive for what it gives, I also ride a bike with the arrow exhaust and holes on the side plates (to let the bike breath better) and it improves a little more than mine.

Both bikes were with sound restrictors!!!

Conde,
what do you mean by holes on the side plates?? I will be trying the Leo Vince on one of our TC's in the next day or two!

He meant increased airflow into the airbox by drilling holes in the rear side panel. weather it's needed, or if its helping or not, is a complete new topic, but thats what he was talking about.

I had emailed leo vince about a slip on for my new 2010 te250 and this was there reply. So unless I can come up with a quiet sparky for my bike, its looking like fmf will be the only option I see at the moment.

"Hello,
I wanted to inform you that we have not yet released a system for the 2010 model. Please check back with us later this year to see if we have released one for it.

Thanks"

I am not sure about just the silencer slip on but I am sure Leo Vince has the X3 full system available now. Check with ScottyR on here, he may have one in stock.
