• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2011 SMS 630 Stolen from San Diego Area

gregjune

Husqvarna
C Class
Just got back from a week long vacation and decided to go for a ride but my ride had disappeared. It was quite a disappointing day. Anyways, just a reminder to keep those things locked and chained to something. Mine was parked in a private parking garage. Hopefully my insurance will pay well, but I'm not sure if I'll be rejoining the Husky community. :(

I am in San Diego and will keep an eye out for it. Any way I can tell if it's yours?

Why not rejoining the husky community?

I am in San Diego too. Any distinguishing marks? Any security cameras in the garage?

Circus, what does yours look like? I have only seen two other 630s in the area

one in PB and it was the black/silver version

and one at GP motorcycles in the service dept red version with crash damage. I think it had a UCSD sticker on it.

Mine is the red version with the 630 stickers removed. leo vince pipe with a black slider on it. JD jetting unit zip tied to the handlebar clamps. white acerbis handguards.

I hate thieves!

Some aspects of Sharia Law sometimes seem quite attractive. Don´t think the thief would do much on two wheels ever again with only two stumps

I worked in the FL prison system for 5 yrs managing a rehabilitation program/industry.

Thieves are the worst personality. Murderers are much more social.

I have no sympathy for thieves or vandals, whatever unforeseen consequences befall them during their endeavors.

Huh, coincidence, I just got a text from San Diego area with a link to a CBS ad for a work-from-home scheme

Distinguishing marks/upgrades:
FMF Exhaust
Dynojet tuner w/autotune under seat (dynojet sticker on front fender)
Bar end mirrors (left one has a crack)
Red tank and side panel stickers removed
Extremely unique air box cover mod with SS screen, I'll try to find a picture

Taken from apartment complex under ground gated garage in East Village, downtown.
Funny thing is my Husky is gone but they left a Honda Ruckus scooter for me. I guess they figured the husky was worth more and had to make room in their truck for it.

Use Search Tempest to search nationally every so often. Something may show up sooner or later. Hell, the POS may visit this forum to learn more about it at some point. Put up some pics.

.

Pics are before exhaust and air box mods. Local police think its already in Mexico, which I assume is what they tell people so they don't have to actually look for it.
