  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2011 te511 frame

tricksta

Husqvarna
Hi a my first post, i have a 2011 te511 my frame is cracked everything else is fine so im looking for a new frame to fit everything onto can anyone confirm what years i can use.

You can use any year. While the 2011 is slightly different, the bolt on stuff, engine, swingarm, suspension is interchangeable. The only suspension difference is the length of the rear shock, which was shortened 10mm for 12 on. That sucks by the way, hope you can find a frame.

If you're having trouble try Bill's, Halls or ZipTy.

Awesome thx heaps for that i was looking at that one on ebay, i might have to buy it as there not many around although here in Australia i don't know if i can get it complianced and registered but at least ill have a dirt bike i can use.
Will only the 511 be a straight swap will any other nodel frames work.

It is sad thankfully i got it back but its trashed, its cracked top and bottom at the neck where triple clamps bolt up, they must of been jumping it and dumping it with a big gut on it or something, i need new plastics my bars are bent and exhaust damaged and it looks like the rear subframe is bent in, but the rest i can definitely use if i get another frame, i could possibly repaird the frame or keep using it but who knows how long it will hold maybe for ever or not long id rather be safe then sorry.
Ive found another 2013 pretty much brand new frame from a husky dealer in the UK 150pounds but it was 1 of 3 that were stolen from a shop and police recovered and returned them and the dealer stripped and has 1 frame left no vin no as thieves took it of, its a good price but no vin number makes it look like i am riding a stolen bike although its been recovered.
Not sure which way to go i think a frame with a good vin would be much better even though i only want the bike for the dirt bo registration is needed.

Another question guys mine has supermotard rims what dirt rims of other models are also a straight bolt on to mine.

I'd repair your old frame, buy a new subframe. You need to have it stripped down and sand blasted. It needs to be Tig welded with a mild steel filler. Then powder coat to a custom color and reassemble.

I was thinking of going that way repairing but no one can guarantee the work and after paying for sandblasting repairing and powdercoating here in Australia ill be paying twice as much then another frame, but at least ill have my original frame im still thinking of going that way though.
