• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2013 TXC310R Clutch Problem

Sph123

Husqvarna
AA Class
Good day folks. I have a problem with my clutch that I haven't come across with any of my previous bikes. When I first put the bike in gear, the bike wants to go forward some, the odd part is though that when I start to let the clutch out it doesn't release until its suppose to (half way out). I can't quite figure out why it is dragging while the lever is fully engaged and then not engaging harder as I let the clutch out. Hope this makes sense. Any advice no what could be the problem would be greatly appreciated. I have bleed the line and there was no air at all. Clutch is used for single track but is only 6 months or so old and I don't thing I have done anything to really hurt the clutch.

Thanks,

I would like to add one more question. Ever since I tried adjusting my rear brakes, when I take off something in the rear drags for a bit. I can't figure out what it is. I have put the brake adjustments back to normal and when I push the bike there is no drag, it is only when i'm taking off and doesn't happen all the time. Any ideas?

So I played with the bike some last night, changed the oil, filter and cleaned the screen. I paid more attention and it was the clutch that was dragging as I was pulling out in 1st gear, it did that in the driveway all 5 times I tested it. I then went around the block twice, engine and oil got warm and then it stopped doing it. It is still wanting to pull forward when at a stop though but that drag seems to be gone. Might be worth just buying a new clutch and checking to see what that does..
