  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2014 Txc 310 R and FMF exhaust system

Hello I've seen a few threads on this but just want to make sure I have the correct info before I make the purchase. I want to put an exhaust system on my 2014 txc 310r. Don't want to spend the extra cash for the Pro Circuit so decided on the FMF.

I know the FMF muffler will bolt right onto the stock header, but I would like to purchase power bomb header from FMF for the full system. FMF website shows that the power bomb header (#045529) will fit a 2012 txc 310 but doesn't show it will fit a 2013/14 redhead. I called FMF and the tech guy says they do not know if the power bomb header will fit the redhead 13/14 for sure.

Does anyone know if the FMF Power bomb header (Item #045529) will fit the new Redhead motors?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

One other thing: Do I need to do anything else if I put a full system on the bike? I.e. reflash the ecu or upload a different map? Or am I good just bolting the system on?

Thanks

045526 is the part number for the FMF powerbomb header for a 2013-14 TXC310. I don't know what the difference is. It use to show up on the FMF website. I noticed last September that it had been taken off the website. There are a lot of part numbers for the x-lite TE/TXC's that don't show up any more. So I assumed that meant it was discontinued so I found a seller on amazon that had one and ordered it. I already had a FMF muffler and wanted the header to match, so I figured that I needed get one while I still could. Fyi, FMF tech support is behind useless....

Here is the link for the seller I used an Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M9MOVEI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00

Thanks for the info. Guess i better pick one up before they are all gone

Oh, and you should also get your ecu reflashed to the race map. It's also called map3. A dealer will have to do it for you.
