• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

the district has picked up the class now (last year was a trial) we had over 70 vintage bikes try it out and are giving out jackets to 1st thru 3rd and really nice trophies to 5 places thanks to our sponsers Dc plastics, Sticker world ,Capture me photography and Team vintage

A few of you came out and tried these last year ,everyone that did really liked the trails, vintage friendly ,old school time keeping no computers ,very easy 12mph loop then a 18mph loop that keeps you on your game. Normally a 40 to 50 mile ride almost always only rode once ,not laps. Nice year end awards jackets this year to the first three placements. Had over 70 people try it with about 10 at each race ,almost 40 at the jack pine . The clubs will be advertising it this year so we are hoping to grow more each year ,only one class at this time bike must have two of these three things a drum brake, twin shocks ,and aircooled. as we grow hope to add post vintage and age groups. vintage tropy.jpg a example of the year end trophy Scott Deikmen on his can am 250

great stuff, in Oz we have a vintage class at the A4DE and VERI are running a 3 day time cards competitive event..its going to be a great year for riding old scooters

Roselawn In. is less than a couple of weeks away ,one of the most fun one in the series ,get that garage queen out and run it ,nothing real tuff in this one n water crossings or large logs just fun single track . Hope to see you there
