I wrote a thread posting my installation of a 4 cell Ballistic Li iron battery in my 2011 TE310. The specs match the OEM Yuasa YTZ-7 lead acid battery but of course the thing weighs 1/4 the weight.
Ballistic acually recommends the 8 cell for my bike, but I opted for the ultra lite and matched spec 4 cell batt. Recently my battery died slowly over a few weeks and caused poor FI and hard starting, it lasted @ 5 months.
We contacted Ballistic and let them know about the results, knowing that I opted to push the envelope with the 4 cell, but they still offered to honor their warranty and send me an 8 cell to replace the 4 cell. I am pleasantly surprised and am now even more of fan of these batteries.
Note: the CV4 branded units are the same as the Ballistic branded Li iron batteries. So If you put one of these in your husky 250-310-450-449-511 its probably best to use the 8 cell for a longer life cycle.
I reinstalled my OEM battery for now until the 8 cell arrives. Here again is the 4 cell installation.
