• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Fair bit lighter than the stock pipe rekon it looks better too.

Hi Scottie ive posted a couple of pics. I had to slice about six inches off the rear mudguard anSAM_0011.JPGSAM_0013.JPGSAM_0013.JPG d fit two LED numberplate lights to keep it legal. The ally bracket is 150mm long and 100mm wide not including the tabs i folded down to mount the blinkers. Mines is far from perfect and an ongoing project!

G'day Charlie, i will be picking up my new husky smr511 tomorrow, (in australia) do you have a link to where you purchased that pipe, and if they deliver to AUS, oh and did you put 'race map II' on with the pipe or is it just on the stock tune?, cheers james

Hi James just do an ebay search "511 arrow" make sure you do a worldwide search there is a few places sellin them. I brought my bike used with 130 miles on it and it had already be put in race map II. Hope this helps. Charlie

I just did a search on ebay Australia "511 arrow" it brought up over twenty results! You need to check the box for a worldwide search. Regards the seat sorry cant help, i shaved mine to reduce the height and its even less comfortable than stock!

Hi mate, your bikes looking good. What mirrors did you get, and where did you get e'm?:)

As far as tyres go, I replaced the horrendous stockers with Pirelli Supercorsas SC1 front and SC2 rear. They're sensational but wear out very quick. Next up I'm getting some Bridgestone BT003RS from these guys - http://www.wrp.net.au/index.html

They get a pretty good rep for use on Tards and go for about $400 the set, fitted.
