• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

610-630 Headlight

I am wondering the same thing...630 has a better looking head-light and probaby better function? am i wright?

630 has a 55w bulb to the 610's 35w.
I've been riding to work early in the dark. The 630's light is better than the 610, but I'd go aftermarket if I wanted seriously good light for night riding. On the 610 I put on a TrailTech X2.

I have an X2 and it works even better if you reverse the fender mount bracket on the bottom of the housing. It was aimed more to the ground so to see objects to the immediate left, right & front of the tire. When I reversed the bracket it kicked the light out more toward the highway for a nice view of the road. They also have an upgrade kit which allow you to put a 55W H3 bulb in the bottom 4" reflector light.

yeah they look like they work great but not feeling the design to be honest. i'd rather just up the wattage of stock bulb slightly and eat more carrots :p

yeah have heard that. plus put undue strain on the wiring loom. i might try somewhere in the middle and see how that goes :)

Thats not 630 headlight, but 449/511 headlight and fender fits perfect too. I have normal H4 bulp on it.
