Hi All,
I picked up a set of forks from a local eBay seller today to repair the fork tubes on my 86 400WR. The guy happens to have a MAG 250 and asked my if I knew of where he could get an orginal aluminum OEM fuel tank to replace the steel fuel tank currently on the bike. I looked at the tank closely and recognized the profile of the tank I have seen on other late 70's CRs. I told him it was probably the original tank in need of repaint. He seems to feel that the OEM tank for the MAG is aluminun and I am sure it was steel. He hopes I am right and he would like to know for sure before he commits to refinishing what he has.
