  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

75 CR360 Bing Jetting

A Class
I rebuilt the Bing carb on the 360. The manual called for a 3.18 needle jet but the Bing Agency had a 3.17 so I went with it. He sold me the "fat" needle which goes in from the bottom of the slide. With a 195 main it is too rich. I dropped to a 185 and it is still to rich on the main. I don't want to run it down too lean. Is anyone running a bing on a cr360? What jetting are you using?

I not sure which one the "Fat Needle" is or you location so I really can't answer your questions without askings lot's of questions, so my best advice is get the Bing Manual from them, study it well and it will answer all your questions, it did for me. Best $11 you can spend! My 75 250CR still wears her Bing Vergaser!

I know the theory- I just need the actual size of the brass you are running. Unlike a Mikuni there is no number on the needle. Low and mid run good, i just don't like to step it down too many sizes from what is published. It says 195 stock and a 185 is still too rich plus I have to order jets-none are local here in Los angeles.
