• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Action Shots

love the one with the roast coming up & front wheel off the ground, nothing like a big bore on the gas

class act ! looks like you fell out of the 1987 husky products catalog. LOL !!! nice pics ,gear and awesome bike. good lock with it.

Some cracking shots there.
We too had a nice Saturday with a photographer.
Found a nice deep puddle to play in too.

Rich on the 79 390 Auto, and me on the 78.

I have always wanted an expensive digital SLR, but have never seemed to get around to it.
Buying the camera is one thing, having the ability to use it is another. Needless to say, the photographer of the above is a pro.

Thanks! I was kinda going for the Husky Products works look if you know what I mean.

Awesome photo's! Would be even better with sound! Love hearing vintage open class two strokes Roar!
Possibly next time I'll have some vids, I want to take it to southwick MX before the season is over.

Nice shots Michel :)
Love the Bell Moto 3. I have been looking for one for years now. I have a collection of Moto 4's that I use. The old Bell's have got to be one of the most comfortable helmets ever made.
Are you going to Farleigh Castle next weekend Michel ??

great shots, i just love those early 510's.
Ol mate rode one at the mallee rally years ago. After 36 hrs straight on the tractor plowing his paddocks, he chased the highly fancied team honda boys on their "new" 600 xrs into 3rd place.

I've read that 2-3 years ago , a 390 hva rider tooks in South Africa finished 2nd or 3rd in an Modern Endurance.
Old husky never die.

Ahh .... kids ! Yep, know that :) My eldest is 10, youngest is 3. At 51 this year I am starting to feel it a bit. Small son goes to his room to play with toy's, I go to my workshop to play with toy's. The only thing is, I reckon my toy box is better than my his (at the moment).
I would love to know more about any vintage enduro's in France. NW would be easier for me, but I am open to ideas. I would love to be able to do Zchsopau in Germany, but the 900 mile drive puts me off.
