• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

ASV Inventions - Levers?

NothingClever

Husqvarna
AA Class
Does anybody know FOR A FACT which levers fit the 610?

I called ASV today and they couldn't give me a conclusive answer :~

Or maybe better yet, how do you bypass the clutch switch so I can just order a whole new perch :D .

That is SUPER simple to do if you just want to order the perch.

I finally got an adult supervisor at ASV to help me with P/Ns.

BRAKE

BLH03 - C5 Pro Series
BHF32 - F Series

CLUTCH

CLM03 - C5 Pro Series
CMF30 - F3 Standard
CMF33 - F3 Pro Series

Thanks, Kelly, for chiming in. Yeah, I found the answer over at SuperMotoJunkie.com......connect the two wires and you're done.

(Right?)

Dunno.....that there '08 is newfangled technology for me :D .

If you have a hydraulic clutch, you'll need different P/Ns.

But fear not, the guy to call is the R&D tech. Listen to ASV's directory service (#5, IIRC) and he'll be able to square you away.

Cool, thanks. I have ASV's on my CBR and, to be honest they are not functionally superior as far as I can tell. They just look/feel sooo good it's hard to resist.

I have a KTM lever on my 06 SMR clutch side, but have yet to conclusively determine which one fits the brake side. I had to loop the clutch safety sensor back to itself because the levers don't fit with that little switch in place. Now the bike starts in gear. I usually leave it in first now and say "suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure you can go ride it!" haha. j/k

If anyone knows a part number that fits the 06 510 I'd be grateful. Then it would match!

I think the levers are superior, personally. I ended up with one because I snapped the OEM lever on a drop. Amazingly, the ASV (refurbs on ebay) were like half the cost of an OEM lever. The bike got knocked over after installing the ASV and the lever bent on impact. I finally got around to bending it back about a year later (lol), and it bent back with no trouble and no breakage. The cool thing to me is that they will warranty it even if you break it while bending it back.

Did these levers bolt on without needing "modifcation"?

Hi.

I've installed an ASV F1 on my bike.

You'll have some problem with the switching light...
