• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

#31 OA Kyle Hearold, Ben Sikora, Andy Vance 2nd in class.
#37 OA Kenton Prather, Grant Staley 7th in class. (2 man team!!)
Some really Fast D38 guys

Been out with Grant more than a few times in the single track, that kid rips and is just a super nice young lad. Him and Prather make a great combo. I keep trying to sway him away from all that hi speed stuff to join the enduro xc race scene--but truth is out here (west) all the big publicity events are more Nat H&H WORCS Baja and other more fast type racing even western HS is fast. Oh yea he even let us old guys lead....

too much advance for not enough RPM= over ignition? yes? way too early light off without RPM , makes the thing want spin backwards= lots of stress.........sort of like lots of degrees of advance kick back while kick stating. No?

I never like messing with the TPS.... stuff like that its best to leave alone...

The KTMs grew out of faashion for the fast races when KTM went away from the RFS and couldnt finish a race.... plus KTM has shyed away since Kurt passed....

KTM was bigger in BITD when the shop was in the BITD office.... then all the dealers took a crap...

That's pretty cool. I can still remember that old dingy shop. I remember I walked in one day and there were all Cagivas in there.

Funny memories from that Dinky shop which i thought was huge sense only other shop I went to before then was my uncles (RB)....

They used me for the "husky" guy even though I was only 15 because no one else could figure out their crazy microfiche layout....

Getting chewed out when I answered the phone (there was like 5 parts people) on a Saturday after like 5 rings and it was Malcolm.... the rule was 3 rings max

My daily Jolt off the roach coach and daily in n out across the street....

New bike customer crashing into the front doors on his new purchase

Those were some good times and will never forget and was sorry I left to go to the big yellow building
