• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hey guys just wanted to show you the rack I got for my te630 I loaned justin at nomadic racks (yes that's my bike in pics) my bike to build this prototype for the te630 and support braces I can't tell you how well made and awesome this rack is and for the price nothing can beat it. Super strong really slick looking and unlimited tie down straps. It's only $79 I think the competitors want over $200 and it's not cheap can take a beating.

Hey Brian, Would you do me a favor and see if there are part number stickers on the back of your "TE 630" side panels? Those don't show up in the parts catalog.

I will post up a part number when I get home. I think I still have the little parts sticker on mine. FYI Hall's sold me mine.

You have my interest...

Does the price of the rack include the braces, or does he have some kind of package deal?

Bob- No luck. The polisport codes do not seem to register anything in my googles. Hall was an easy call and they were able to order mine. Apparently some of the 2011's had this side panel.

My TCI borego is looking real heavy compared to this. Thanks for posting.

I think I bought his prototype. :-) Awesome little rack. I'm very happy with it. I've used it to mount a 1 gallon Kolpin fuel can, and have had other stuff strapped to it as well. One word of advice, which many of you probably already know, Loctite.

Very nice:thumbsup:
Sent them a email to see if i can get one posted downunder.
Couldn't make that in my shed for the $$
