  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

MOTORHEAD

Husqvarna
Pro Class
These are the carbon parts that are listed in the '08 4 stroke shop manual for the SMR's. Does anyone know if they will be in the new Hardparts catalog, should it ever surface, or if they are available somewhere? I'm most interested in the airbox, valve cap and shock guard.

Carbon parts
1- Cylinder head cap
2- Shock absorber guard
3- Right sump guard
4- Gearbox outlet pinion cap
5- Chain guide cap
6- Front fender stiffener
7- Air filter box

@Mike > Are GP busy moving or something? Been trying to get them over email regarding their FMF dual exhausts but never got a reply.

Yes they are moving. Plus the Shop number and address are of the new shop. They are only moving 5 minutes up the road. I hadnt been there before and went to the address listed on their site. Showed up and no bikes. Just construction. I asked the guys at the picture shop next door and they gave me their old address that they are still at. i know they were suppose to move in last month. Maybe they shut down for a week just for the move. Great people to talk to. Super helpful. They seem to really know their stuff.

Hey joe, can you answer my original question, or tell me what CF parts you have / can get for my '08 TE510?

BTW- do you if I can pull the top end off while the motor is still in the frame, for sure?
