Cherry bomb on a 610?

I was looking at exhausts and wondered could I stick 2 of these on my 00sm610. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motor...chrome-racing-cherry-bomb-tail-bomb-silencers apart from making it loud as hell what other effects would it have? Good or bad?

Same as installing a slip-on except you will have to rig up some mounting points.

Will be super loud and very heavy. I did this a way back in the day on a XR500, was thunderous.

Why even consider it? Super loud and very heavy are reasons enough not to do it. If cost is the concern it's usually pretty easy to secure a used slip-on economically.

What was it like on the xr500? I would modify the stock mufflers but unsure of where to cut etc. and don't wanna end up making a bollox of it. Any guides to modifying the stock?

Can't believe I forgot about gutting the stock...had considered that when another CH'er passed on his FMF to me for a good price.

Good read thanks. So gutting them is pretty much making them into cherry bombs going by that thread. Must go price perforated tubing etc and see how much cheaper it would be to just mod the stock cans.
