• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Are you bringing in more XL Sinisalo jackets? I might be intrested in one but would like to see how it fits. I would make the trip to Mike K's and use his first class fitting rooms if thats a possibility.

Not sure, it was hard / expensive to get and although people said they really wanted the stuff they sold slow. :excuseme:

I understand. I'm pretty much a fair weather rider and even when it's chilly I tend to be warm, not sure I really need a jacket.
I will get another Sinisalo jersey tho, just had a look at mine and it's looking a bit worn.

Unfortunately for you, what people really want is the Pro-Grip stuff.

Are you Talking about just the regular Pro-Grip stuff? Do they have any that say Husky on them. The Sinisalo gear is great stuff. I bought a few sets at the time as i was in germany and Motospotz didnt carry them yet. Everyone always asks where i got them from. Granted they are Pumpkin riders. There have been a few that have ordered from overseas because they carry KTM stuff also. Might look into carrying KTM sets also Kelly. But i dont know that market. As i have said before, I will always support those that support us first anyway though.

Mike

The Sinisalo stuff is very nice but I want more bold Husqvarna graphics on the jersey like the team stuff that is too large for me.

Sinisalo gear is top-notch quality gear, but the ProGrip stuff is really great looking. They supply the Husqvarna CH Racing Team for the WEC. Some of us prefer its looks over the Sinisalo. If anyone has a line to this stuff I'd like to know.

Offroadchampions.com was selling WEC KTM Team jerseys last year and I contacted them trying to talk them into getting some of the Husky riders (Oblucki, Guillaume, etc.). Maybe he said, but if more people asked . . . . .
