• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Has anyone bought there Terra a half cover? Spring looks like it's taking here in Michigan, and I'm itching to once again ride my bike to work. The things is I now work third shift at a place I can't store my bike indoors at. So I'm looking for a half cover to protect it from dew, rain, (frost?!) that will just cover the seat, handlebars and controls. The kicker is I'll have to be able to put it on with a hot exhaust. Once I go in the building I'm not allowed out until lunchtime, 4 - 6 hours after I get there, hence the half cover idea that won't cover the exhausts. Naturally I can't find lick about what size cover the Terra would take, so I'm hoping someone out there can help me.

I was looking at the CoverMax half cover from MotorcycleSuperstore, but they don't have measurements listed, just the sizes: Medium, Large, and Extra-Large. My wife says the medium is what I'd need since it's a suave (and sexy) Italian bike, but I'm worried that this size cover is for sport bikes with the tucked in mirrors. My Terra has way high mirrors that may mean a larger size would be needed.

I don't know if you have a place at work for one of these, but I love mine.
I can roll up with the bike and have it covered in seconds, even if the bike gets wet or really dusty/dirty on the ride in, its not getting messed up by the cover.
Of course no issues with the bike/pipes being hot either.
